Our History

The concept of Families Together Counseling Services began when Janice Masse, LCSW and Kevin Callahan, MBA became colleagues at a child welfare agency providing similar services.  It was quickly realized that additional quality therapeutic services in Columbia, Greene, Ulster, and surrounding areas was a real need. Families Together became a reality when the two founding members collaborated together, how best they could help address that need and make a significant difference. The vision became the creating an agency which was flexible, client centered, reality based that also provided the best ethical services possible.
